Kids Art-object TheTrunk

ABOUT PROJECT

CUSTOMER

NCCA Volga-Vyatka region branch, Arsenal, Nizhny Novgorod

TASK

Kids' limited exposure to the nature is an urgent problem of society at large. With this art-n-play object I wanted to bring more nature into the lives of urban children so that they could learn how a tree grows while playing.

PROJECT DETAILS

The object is a hollow wooden structure (pipe) imitating a tree trunk. Inside surface features roots, bark, a crown with dry leaves and illustrates the growth process of the tree with annual rings. Once inside, a child is engaged with studying the tree and its life with all senses. The object consists of several parts and is completely safe even for the youngest explorers.
